Job description

Northern Commercials has been established for over 50 years and started as a family run business which through expansion and success is now part of a plc Group. The main business function is to sell new and used commercial vehicles from all five of their depots across the UK. We also offer other services such as parts, servicing and breakdown cover.

At Northern Commercials the customer is at the forefront of everything that we do, this includes offering high level service to meet our customer’s needs. The responsibility of workshop admin is to coordinate and organize our workshop staff to maximise efficiency. This position will look at managing communication between different teams.

Essential skills & experience:

· Workshop/Motor Trade experience required

· A high level of organisation and the ability to multi-task.

· Good attention to detail + ability to manage own workload

· Ability to work under pressure.

· Comfortable in using Microsoft packages such as Excel and Word.

· Previous knowledge of Kerridge/ Autoline would be advantageous (but not essential)

Main duties will include:

· Liaising with customers on progress of vehicle repairs

· Liaising with customers to gain authority to complete repairs

· Signing off job cards and carrying out checks to make sure they are to the manufacturer’s warranty audit standard

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays
