Casual Driver

The Company:

Northern Commercials has been established for over 50 years and started as a family run business which through expansion and success is now part of a plc Group. The main business function is to sell new and used commercial vehicles from all five of their depots across the UK. We also offer othr services such as parts, servicing and breakdown cover. 

The Role:

• Due to ongoing fluctuations in vehicle deliveries/ collections we are seeking casual drivers who will be located at the Brighouse depot. 
• As a casual driver, you will be working in line with the dealership’s sales team & will be contributing towards running an efficient operation, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times. 
• Flexibility is key for this role as work will be allocated on an ad-hoc basis with no guarantee of set hours and often offered at short notice. 

Main duties will include: 

• Collection & Delivery of vehicles to and from bodybuilders/ customers. 
• Fuelling and assisting with movement of vehicles within the yard. 
• General driving. 
• Assisting with handover of vehicles, filling out relevant paperwork and following damage procedure checks  

Skills / Qualifications / Experience Required

CPC is advantageous but not essential,  HGV Class 2 License Required. You must have eligibility to work in the UK and a full valid UK Driving License. Pay: Paid on a monthly basis, should you be interested in the position the details within the T’s & C’s will be discussed individually.  Additional information:
