In the Roadway survey, 200 members of the RHA were asked to identify the worst pressures on business and how transport operators are helping to ease them. As a result of the survey, hauliers in the North, West, Midlands and South-East, explained the problems with fuel costs. Many hauliers said they are likely to recover the costs from customers but there is still a problem as this is not always the case.
